ABOUT

Chanel Dagher is an Australian fashion designer and founder of MIÁ MUSCA, a womenswear label grounded in heritage, symbolism, and quiet luxury. With Italian and Middle Eastern roots, Dagher’s work is deeply informed by cultural tradition and the language of storytelling—where garments become vessels for memory, identity, and emotion.

A graduate of the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Dagher refined her craft through rigorous study in tailoring, draping, and couture techniques, developing a precise yet intuitive approach to construction. Her practice bridges technical craftsmanship with conceptual depth, resulting in pieces that honour the artistry of fashion while reinterpreting it for the modern woman.

The name MIÁ MUSCA—meaning “My Musca”—pays tribute to Dagher’s childhood nickname Muscareda, a Sicilian word for a native fig or pear. The title carries the tenderness of her heritage and the intimacy of self-identity, encapsulating the brand’s devotion to meaning, softness, and slow intention.

Now based in Australia, Dagher continues to build MIÁ MUSCA as a label defined by its emotional depth and timeless restraint. Guided by a belief in the sacredness of clothing, she designs with purpose—to create garments that endure beyond trend and time. Each collection explores the relationship between intimacy and restraint, individuality and heritage. Through MIÁ MUSCA, Dagher offers a modern expression of quiet strength and sensuality—pieces to be cherished across generations.
